Analysis runs scripts and pipelines from your team’s Analytics Tools on a project’s resources. Each run is an execution with its own logs and outputs.
Where scripts come from
Scripts and pipelines live under Analytics Tools in the sidebar and are shared by your team. Create your own with Add → Script (Python or R) or Add → Pipeline (scripts chained together), or get ready-made ones from the Marketplace. A project can only use tools whose status is Active.
Create a script
Describe it. In Analytics Tools, click Add, then Script. Enter a Title, Unique name and Short description, choose the Input format and Output format (Vector, Raster or Table), the expected Running time in minutes and the Script type (Python or R). Click Create.

Define inputs, outputs and code. The script editor opens. Under Inputs, click Add for each parameter the script needs: a Variable Name, a Label and a Field Type such as Resource (a project file), Numeric, String, Boolean, Extent Polygon or Path. Tick Required if a run can’t start without it. Define Outputs the same way. Write the code in the editor, or click Prompt to generate it with AI, then click Update Script.

Make it Active. New scripts start as Draft. Open the script’s settings (the gear icon in the editor), set Status to Active and click Update. Only Active tools can be added to projects.

Add the analysis to a project
Open the project, click Analysis in the sidebar, then Add.
In Add analysis, select a script or pipeline. Its details appear on the right.
Click Add to project.

Run it
Click the analysis in the list. The details panel shows how many executions succeeded, failed or are running, the inputs and outputs, and the Executions history. Click Run.

In the Run dialog, name the execution and fill in each input; a Resource input lists the project’s resources. Tick Add to Project Resources upon success to keep the outputs as project resources. Set as default remembers these values for next time. Click Run.

Follow the execution
The execution opens with four tabs. Logs stream in real time while it runs. Workflow shows the pipeline diagram, or the script code as it was at run time. Output lists the result files to download or import into the project. Preview shows the results on the project map. Each run spends compute credits from your team’s allowance, which you can check under Settings → Limits.
