Tasks carry the forms your team fills in. When you create a task with a form, the form builder opens so you can lay out the fields, set their properties and add rules.
Create a task with a form
Open the project, click Tasks, then New.
In Add New Task, enter a Task name and tick Create a form for this task. Add a Description, the Start date and Duedate, and choose Assignees (who fills the form in) and Reviewers (who approves it).
Click Create. The form builder opens.

Build the form
The palette sits on the left and the form page in the middle. The tabs on the far left switch the palette: Layouts for containers and columns, Elements for fields, Library for saved blocks and templates, Rules for conditional logic, Contents for a table of contents and Page size for the paper format.
Open Elements and drag a field onto the page. There are text fields, rich text, addresses, dates, Yes/No toggles, dropdowns, checkboxes, radios, numbers, checklists and taglists, plus spacers, page breaks and dividers, and Media, Map and Data elements.

Set a field’s properties
Select a field on the page and click Element properties. The Content tab holds the title, tooltip and field description. The Settings tab holds the default value, Required, whether the field appears in the table of contents, the title position, font size, borders and paddings.

Add a rule
Rules disable or hide fields until a condition is met. Open Rules, click Add rule, name it and click OK. Choose the Action (Disable or Hide), add a Condition (a controlling field and a test such as Empty or equals), then pick the Target fields the rule applies to.

Save and start the task
Click Save to keep your changes, and Task to switch to the task view where assignees fill the form in. A task moves from New to In Progress (fill in), Review (the reviewer checks it and can send it back) and Finish, which locks it. The Task workflow tour under Settings → Onboardings walks through the whole cycle.
